I am a research based designer with a passion for type design and applied typography. With concept always at the core, my work explores typography's potential to visually convey meaning beyond the words it primarily serves. My approach to design is hands on and collaborative, where mistakes and conversation shape success. Also proactive in design writing and criticism, it is in my nature to initiate debate and challenge the viewer's perspective through design.

Eager to learn outside of my academic comfort zone, I have already worked for a variety of design studios such as Pentagram in London, Cloudfactory in Amsterdam and Artworklove in Paris.

Good Girl Typeface

Good Girl is a display typeface designed in reaction to the underrepresentation of women in the type design industry. Available in three weights from regular to extra-condensed, Good Girl addresses the issue of female visibility within the field by exploring the occupation of space both in typographic form and political expression.

Jet Wash Culture

Screen printed poster extracted from a series celebrating four eras of music at the V&A (1960s-1990s). The graphic system developed for the identity evokes the progressive disappearance of the vinyl format between the 1960s and the 1990s.

Decoding Type

Designed thesis which explores the political authority of Unicode on digital type design and in particular on scripts outside of the Latin sphere.
